CAMPAIGNS

UNISON Cambridgeshire Branch – Campaigns Group
Fighting for services and communities – Our campaigns are organised around public services delivered to our communities and engaging with the public.

Purpose – The purpose of the campaigns group is to coordinate campaigns on the issues raised by UNISON Cambridgeshire Branch members.  To support wider union concerns by being responsive and active in generating campaign ideas that will engage with members and the community.

Aims – The campaign group will aim to inform, influence and raise awareness of issues affecting members and the community. The group will use the strength of the union to respond by way of the media to protect public sector jobs and services.  Each campaign will identify an audience and will require the involvement of people actively participating. Every campaign will have clear goals and a start and, where possible, a clear end date.

Engaging members who are engaged – Any member of UNISON Cambridgeshire Branch is welcome to join the Campaigns Group. The group meets bi-weekly on Tuesday between 16:30 and 17:30 in Cambridge.  If you would like to be involved or would like more information about contact the Branch Office on 01223 717015 or unison@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
